Hola

Hi Everyone!! I am here to do my bi yearly update...lol. It at leasst seems like it takes me forever to update this. I had my first REAL(non family) client on April 29th. His name was Ryan and I gave him a haircut. I was kinda nervous, hehe. I also worked at a race that weekend. So I am looking forward to having a little bit of money. I am working another one in a couple of weeks, woo!! :)This past week I had two clients. I did a color correction on Ryah(May 6th), which turned out great, and I gave Katie a pedicure(May 8th). Saturday, Josh and I had dinner with my dad, stepmom, and Katherine. We had Thai food!!! It was very very good. I went in to turn in my passport application this morning, but I had to make an appointment for tomorrow. This coming weekend my family and I are going to a beach house. It should be a lot of fun! Ooooo Ooooo andddd I ordered my business cards this week. They should be here within 3 weeks. Alright, I think that is about it for now....Peace.

A Glimpse

Gahhhhh, I am so so so bad at updating my blog. I always forget to do so, even when exciting things come along. Hmm, I have my lip pierced(monroe) now. I got it done on April 14th. I love love love it!!! I am happy that I got it done. What else??? I spent Easter at my dad's house. There was of course an Easter egg hunt extravaganza!! Peacocks included. I colored and highlighted my mom's hair on Friday the 17th, and cut Josh's hair the next day. Both of which turned out great(in my opinion)! Josh and his mom had interviews with two different animation schools here in Sacramento on Friday(the 24th). After the interviews we met for food at On the Border. Yummy Yummy! Today was full of perms and makeup applications. Quite the combo I would say. I am working at a race this Saturday in Fairfield/Vacaville. I am having dinner at my dad's Friday night so I will just stay the night there since the race is right by his house. Woot! Money! :P

Inked Up

Hi all!!! So I did end up getting a tattoo on Tuesday (March 31, 2009). Woo!! It was a pretty cool experience. I was really happy with the shop I chose (Elite Piercing and Tattoo). It was really clean and welcoming. Everyone there was super nice, yet professional at the same time. The tattoo did not really hurt that bad. It was definitely bearable. It hurt at first, but almost seemed like the pain went away after awhile. I do not really know how to explain it. Let us just say that I will be getting more. =] Dano (the guy who did it) was awesome. I will definitely go back to him for my future tats and piercings. I was really nervous at first, but he put me at ease. He explained everything that he was going to do to me. He answered all of my questions. It only took about 45 minutes to finish. Apparently it took longer than expected (It was only expected to take about 15-20 minutes), because my skin is retarded and is very delicate. He had to be gentle and fine with it because the ink was wanting to spread a little bit in my little veins. He made it work though, which is another reason that I will continue to go to him. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Today I was working on my weaves. I got 3 of them done, so I only have 1 left. Then I will move on to perms, which I only have one left to do. After that will be relaxers. I am hoping to get started on the relaxers tomorrow sometime. I went to dinner with my dad and Cheryl tonight. We met at this Thai food place in Davis. It was really really good. They are moving to Germany in July. I am hoping that I will be able to go out there and see the area after I get out of school. Maybe I will get to spend the holidays there. This weekend I will be going down to Turlock. Going to a birthday lunch with Michelle, Josh, and possibly David on Sunday. Then we will be seeing a movie. Not sure which one yet. Next weekend is Easter Sunday. I am going to be spending the night that Saturday and then spending the day with my dad's family. It should be fun. Alright, I think that is it... :]]

Weekend/Monday :P

Heyyyy!! So I am now officially and adult. I am not really sure if I feel like one yet, though. It is kind of weird. Sunday was my family party thing. Went to John's Incredible Pizza Place, lol. It was fun, got to play games and stuff. Got some presents from the fam. Watched tons of movies with the boy all weekend (as always, lol). We saw this super cheesy effects movie, it all looked so fake. We had some good laughs with that one. Jamba Juice called me yesterday morning to schedule an interview for this morning. They called me on my birthday...a sign maybe? Hehe. So I went to the interview this morning. I feel pretty good about it. It is a two step interview process, so she will call me tomorrow evening to hopefully schedule a second interview. After the interview, Josh and I drove down to Turlock. I edited/uploaded some pictures from yesterday. Then we headed to MJC for Josh's classes. I am sitting in the student lounge on the school's free wifi. And there are these 2 gay guys like making out on the other side of the room. Weeeeeeird. So tomorrow I am going to be hopefully getting a tattoo!!!! Yay!! I was going to get a monroe piercing, but I may wait on it. I have not decided for sure yet. Alright, I will update tomorrow after the whole tattoo/piercing endeavor.

Wow I am Lazy!

So maybe I was wrong, and that the procrastination was/is not over. It has probably been entirely too long since I have written. So today I said to myself, "I should should really write something...anything today." So here I am. Last weekend my dad, step mom, brother, Josh, and I went out to dinner for my birthday. We had sushi from Mikuni!!! It was oh so yummy!!!!! My dad and Cheryl gave me some money and some Bath and Body Works lotions for my birthday. Woo! :) I watched Twilight at Michelle's house on Monday. She also gave me a birthday present early. I got Twilight, Bath and Body Works lotion and body wash, loofah, earrings, and a hair bow accessory thing from her. Love it all!! This Sunday is my family party at John's Incredible Pizza Place, so I will get to see a lot of my family. Josh is taking me to get his present for me on Monday. Hmm, so Sunday morning Tifany is cutting my hair. Finalllllllly. Oh!!!! And Tuesday I am either getting a tattoo or a monroe piercing. I am not entirely sure yet. Thoughts???

The Procrastination Has Come To An End

I would be lying if I said "I cannot believe it has been this long since I have written!!!!!" I have been telling myself for over a week now that I need to write in here. You can tell how that worked out. I kept putting it off, lol. Anyways, I will fill you in on the big things.

Wednesday, March 4th, I got in my first car accident. I was on Auburn Blvd. on my way home from work. I stopped at a yellow light because the intersection was getting filled up with cars. Out of nowhere someone slams into the back of my car. They push me into the intersection, and I end up hitting the car that is stopped in the middle of the intersection. The car in front of me, and I pull over. The car that hit me drove off without even stopping. I was and still am rather pissed off about it.

This past week was my first week on the floor. I was only there Tuesday though, because I got sick. I have a really bad sinus cold that does not want to go away. =[ Hopefully I will start to feel better tomorrow since I have school again Tuesday. I am kind of worried about being way behind everyone else since I missed so many days this week. I hope it all works out.

I Cannot Think of a Title =/

It has been too long. When I wait this long to update, I do not even know where to start. Hmmm, well on Friday I went to a party/sleepover at Linda's after school. It was me, Linda, Suzy, Tatianna, Stephanie (she left early), Kendra, Jessica, Jerry (Linda's fiance), and Amber (Linda and Jerry's roommate). We hung out, played some games, and just got to know each other a lot better. I picked up Josh in Natomas around 10:30am on Saturday. We met my mom, Sean, Brianna, Jordan, and Gma Wanda in Vacaville to head over to Palo Alto to See JD, Erika, Peyton, and Lucas. They were soooooo cute!!!! Josh and Sean were scared to hold them because they were so tiny, hehe. We all helped them out with some various household things. I even cut Erika's fringe. I was pretty nervous about that since I have not cut anyone else's hair before. We headed down to Turlock around 8:30am on Sunday. We had to stop at Auto Zone and get me a new gas cap since I drove off without it on Saturday. I got one with a key this time. That way the key will be in the cap, therefore I will have to put it back to be able to drive away, HAHA!! I drove home this morning and got home an hour before I had to be at school. We were learning about scalp treatments, scientific brushing, blow drying, and other styling techniques today. It was fun. =]
