Random Tid-Bits

Hi All! How are you? I am doing pretty fantastical!! :D I cut hair all day long. Woo! And I finally got my CA cut signed off so I will be starting my AC tomorrow morning. I am excited that our last day of cutting is tomorrow. I mean, it is loads of fun and all, but I am ready to learn everything else, haha! I found out today that we are going to be learning about perms and relaxers next week. Should be fun! Omg!!! So this girl from my school who went on the London trip this year is apparently stuck in London! Someone stole her wallet and passport and stuff so she cannot get back to America! Is that not insane?! I would be freakin' terrified to be stuck in another country with no money... Anywaysssss, after class tomorrow, Tifany, one of the instructors, is going to cut my hair. I am rather excited about it. I told her that she can be creative and do whatever she wants. So this should be interesting(pictures to come!!!). I am trying to decide if I am going to drive down to Turlock tomorrow night. I want to go to the Superbowl party with Josh. I will see how I am feeling after I am done with everything tomorrow, I suppose. I went out to dinner with my dad and stepmom this evening. We went to On the Border in Natomas. It was sooooooo yummy. Definitely a favorite place to eat. It was a nice evening too, had some nice conversations with them. And afterwards I was in the bathroom and there was this lady talking to her little girl about how they were moving to Guam soon. So I talked to her for a little bit. Her husband is in the Air Force and they are moving there in 2 days. What a small world, lol. Alright, well my mind is drawing a blank so I think that I am done for today. Peace.

The No Name Blog

So I have been sitting here for about 20 minutes(okay maybe I am exaggerating a little bit) trying to think of what to call this blog entry. And my mind is still completely blank on a title. Hence "The No Name Blog." Anyways, my day has been a good one. Despite my early morning, I took the time to eat some toast and have some Cranberry/Grape Juice. Juice is kind of my new thing. I am trying to drink it in the place of soda. I am actually trying to give up soda entirely. I am also considering my no sugar diet again. It worked wonders last time. Haha, we will see I guess. Hmm so we learned about skin disorders and diseases, learned a new cut, and then just cut our dolls hair the rest of the day. It was pretty sweet. But I was getting hella frustrated. I was doing a CA cut, which is layers with a line, and my layers on one side were longer than my layers on the other side. I rechecked all my sections like 50 million times and I could not find where I messed up. By the time I found it and fixed it, it was almost time to do sanitation. Jessica's dad came to pick her up today so I got to meet him. He is JD Chandler. Some of you may know of him. He is a nationwide radio host for K-Love. So that was kind of cool. Betty and I watched American Idol again. Tonight's was actually pretty entertaining and I saw some people that I was pretty impressed with. Oh!! So I have a test on Vidal Sassoon's ABC cutting system on Monday. Woo! And apparently, unlike all the other tests, it is open ended questions. So I really need to study and learn the material well. This week is our last week of hair cutting in the freshman room. It will be kind of nice to have a break from it. Especially since it has been pretty frustrating and stressful. Next week is Kendra, Jessica, and Galina's last week with us before they get to roll out on to the floor. How sad!!!! =[ But then we get to meet the new freshmen!! I hope there are boys in it, lol!! And I have decided that I need to get my haircut sometime soonish! Like preferably this week or next week. I think that I want like a dramatic triangle cut. Pretty short, but I want like long, kind of wispy pieces in the front. And I think I want it all platinum. And maybe some colored panels in there somewhere. I will ask around tomorrow maybe. :]]

Lazy Lazy Day

Sooo today was an incredibly lazy day in the life of Megan. My alarm went off at 7:30. I turned it off and rolled right back over to go back to sleep. I was not feeling the best either. My second alarm went off 10 minutes later, and it was then that I decided I was going to use one of my free days. I get 10 free days of school throughout the whole time that I am attending. You have to spread them out though because every month, if your attendance drops below 90%, you are put on probation and cannot participate in any extra curricular activities through the school. So I used my January free day. I had a nice breakfast of coffee, orange juice, toast, and cereal. I swear that I am becoming addicted to coffee. I have a cup every single morning. I need it though. I am not used to this whole 7:30am routine. But yes, I called into the school and let them know that I was not coming in today. I attempted to unpack the rest of my boxes. I find it funny that the first few days that I was here, I was all gung-ho for unpacking and then the excitement of it all just kind of slowly dwindled down. There are only 3 boxes left. I should really just get it over with. I went down to Jamba Juice at 5:30 and filled out an application. I did not get to talk to Chelsey though. She was at the bank while I was there. I hope that something works out though. I have my fingers crossed. Betty was pulling a lemon cake out of the oven as I was walking in the door and it smells delicious. We will probably have a piece when we sit down to watch American Idol. Speaking of which, I suppose it is about that time. Until tomorrow...(corny much).

My Weekend....

So, my weekend was pretty awesome!! I went down to Turlock/Merced. Woo!! Friday I left kind of late(took Betty shopping first) so I did not get down there until around 9:30 or so. I headed into Merced Saturday afternoon and met up with Michelle. I helped her pick out and outfit for her date with David that night. Found some sweet [on sale] boots for myself as well!

And yes, I am new to blogger and instead of one of those normal "I think I will start this blogging thing..." posts, I just decided to dive right in. Yep. :]]
