The Comeback

Oh gosh! It's been since September, but honestly, it was a much needed break, I think. I just needed to live, needed to experience life, without writing about every aspect, without dwelling on every instance. Even my personal journal has been neglected(not as much as my blog, but that's beside the point). Where do I even begin? I graduated from cosmetology school Dec 30th, 2009. I still have yet to take my state board exam. It terrifies me!!! Hmm, I have the most amazing boyfriend I could ever ask for(as of Dec. 6th, 2009). His name's Blake. 20, lives in Eugene, OR, likes video games -almost- as much as me. Haha. What else? What else? I'm working for ChaCha.com as an Expeditor. It is only the most entertaining job ever!!!! Anyways, I am going up to Eugene on the train tonight(Or rather at 3 in the morning tomorrow). I am so very excited about my trip. I can't wait to see my man and the -said- beauty of Oregon! Okay, enough of my babbling. I'll save the rest for another day(and hopefully not another 4 months from now!!!)

Back On Track

Hey!!! So things are much better now. And I should be writing again because of it. I was having a hard time, and did not really feel like I could blog without getting too into things. But I am doing great now. I am genuinely happy again. Let's see, I guess there are a few things that I should update you on. I got my hair cut and dyed this past week and a half. It looks hot and sexy!!! I love it!!! :) I have also decided that I am going to go back to school in January. I will be moving back to Winton and living with my Grandma Friesen more than likely. She will not charge me rent so that will take a load off. Also, my mom said that she will continue to pay my cell phone bill and my car insurance if I am still in school, so that will also help a lot. I have an appointment to meet with a counselor at Merced College on the 21st to talk about everything and figure out what needs to be done to get to where I want to be. I really really really want to go to APU. I do not know how realistic that is though for me. It depends on the financial aid and everything that I can get. If not, I want to go to a UC. UCSD, UCLA, UC Riverside, UCSB, or maybe even UC Merced if I decide I want to stay close to home. They would be more financially an option for me because I would not have to pay tuition or any fees(Because my step mom qualifies as a disabled veteran). So, obviously, I am looking into the UCs also. My real wish is for APU though, because of the people and the environment. I miss being around a group of people that have the same morals and beliefs as me. It is kind of emotionally draining. And I don't want to put myself into another environment where I don't have a good support system. I realize that in the real word I am going to have to be around people that I don't like or agree with, but wouldn't it be a much more enjoyable and almost easier college experience if I am around people who have the same #1 priority as me, who have mostly the same beliefs and morals. I also remember staying at the APU campus when my youth group was on our way down to Mexico. It was just a really awesome place with a great atmosphere. Anyways, I am heading down to the farm this evening with Grandpa. We are going to stop and get dinner at Red Robin on our way so that will be yummy. The girls and I are going to have a web cam date with Drewbie either tonight or tomorrow or Tuesday....just sometime while I am still down there. Tomorrow afternoon I am going to lunch at my Grandma Diane's and Grandpa Ernie's house. They are going to grill something and my Grandma is promising some sort of potato dish. Should be fantastic!! She also wants to show me some videos of my Uncle Brian and my dad when they were little. that will be interesting! I also want to talk to Aunt Rhonda some about school and see what she thinks since she is really good at that stuff. She will probably have some good suggestions about what I will need to do. Hmm I broke 1000 hours at school last week, I was pretty excited about that. Less than 600 hours to go!!!! Woo, I should be done the beginning-middle of November. I am more than thrilled about that. It cannot come any sooner, haha. So so so so ready to be done! Alright, that's it for now. :)

So life...

....appears to hate me right now. All this stress with school, life, money, and my future. Then my whole situation with him that I don't understand at all right now. And now.....my mom might have cancer. I don't know what I am going to do. All I want to do is talk to him about it... :(

Sorry For My Absence!!

Let's just ignore the fact that I have not posted in over a month. :) So life has been CRAZYYYY since last time. Josh and I broke up in the beginning of July. It was for the best, no need to elaborate at this time. Some time since then I have been talking to Trevor. I have a good feeling about it, so we will see where it goes. He is in the Coast Gaurd and is currently out on patrol and out of contact for a few weeks. I miss him!!! :( Anyways, I went up to Redding to see my mom this past weekend. She cooked for me, took me shopping, went to the movies (The Ugly Truth), and we just hung out. It was a lot of fun. I have missed her! I am back in Sac now, preparing for the week. 13 hour days at school are in order. Woohoo! My goal is to graduate by Halloween. And it is definitely doable...I think. Hehe, I think that's all for now. Peace!

3 in 1 Day

Sooooo today 3 celebs died!!! Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon. They were playing tons of MJ on the radio all afternoon. Hmm on another note, school is boring, but what do you really expect with school. I need to make up tons of hours, so I will be staying late a lot. Woo... My step dad called me yesterday and I guess he is trying to get me a job with Verizon. He emailed his sort of nephew, Jermey. Hopefully that works out. Would be nice! :) What else? What else? Ummm I am soooo so so so close to level 3! All I need is a press n curl, razor cut, ethnic makeup, 3 color swatch sheets(which are half way done), and that is it!!! Ohhhh...I forgot about my real people weaves. I need 4 of those. They will take forever...Great. So I found out that the person who rear ended me a couple months ago is insured with Geico. So I have been talking to Geico, and they have been trying to get in contact with their insured, but have not been able to. Just trying to get all of that sorted out. My computer has also been acting up again recently. A lot of blue screen errors, a blank black screen that will not go away, my web cam does not always work, and my optical drive is not always recognized. Dell is still refusing to give me a replacement. Even though one of their employees told me I would if I continued to have problems. So, I will be calling customer care sometime to talk to them about it. I was not in the mood today......spent the night on the phone with them the past couple of days, just needed a break. I am supposed to be going to Vegas with Michelle and her mom for 4th of July weekend, but I am kind of worried since I do not really have any money.... =/ Ughh.

So, this is why I never want to live alone. I totally just freaked myself out thinking that someone had broken in!!! I heard a door downstairs and I thought it was a robber. So I am freaked out peaking under my door. Elvis was peeking with me. We were totally ninja! Although, Elvis found it more fun to stick his paws under the door. He needs to learn to be stealth. Anyways yeah, peeking under the door for like minutes at a time. Since like 11:30. No sign of anyone/thing. I am now assuming that the door was Betty going to bed or to the bathroom. She does stay up late ya know. :D

And so it begins!!

Soooo I arrived here from Turlock on Monday, June 8th. Elvis' toilet traiing kit had arrived. So yesterday, June 9th, was his first day with it. I think he was mad because he peed on my bag and pooped on the ground. On a brighter note, he did pee in the seat at least once yesterday. Annnnnnnd I think that he has given up being mad because I woke up in the middle of the night as he was trying to drag the toilet into the seat to cover up the poop. So I jumped out of bed, cleaned it up, and gave him a treat for using the seat, as opposed to the earlier mentioned floor. When I woke up this morning I saw that he had pooped again!!!! Yay! It seems to be working thus far.

Wow, it has been foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I am so horrible about updating this thing. I am in Turlock this weekend. I got to see my brother and grandparents at Red Robin! Hmmm what is new that I have to share?? Hmm Linda is pregnant, and she might be leaving school because of all the fumes. Oooo and Kendra got a boob job, haha. Umm yeah I do not know what to say really. This coming weekend is my brother's birthday party. Should be fun to see family. Okay, I think that is it for now.

Hi Everyone!! I am here to do my bi yearly update...lol. It at leasst seems like it takes me forever to update this. I had my first REAL(non family) client on April 29th. His name was Ryan and I gave him a haircut. I was kinda nervous, hehe. I also worked at a race that weekend. So I am looking forward to having a little bit of money. I am working another one in a couple of weeks, woo!! :)This past week I had two clients. I did a color correction on Ryah(May 6th), which turned out great, and I gave Katie a pedicure(May 8th). Saturday, Josh and I had dinner with my dad, stepmom, and Katherine. We had Thai food!!! It was very very good. I went in to turn in my passport application this morning, but I had to make an appointment for tomorrow. This coming weekend my family and I are going to a beach house. It should be a lot of fun! Ooooo Ooooo andddd I ordered my business cards this week. They should be here within 3 weeks. Alright, I think that is about it for now....Peace.

A Glimpse

Gahhhhh, I am so so so bad at updating my blog. I always forget to do so, even when exciting things come along. Hmm, I have my lip pierced(monroe) now. I got it done on April 14th. I love love love it!!! I am happy that I got it done. What else??? I spent Easter at my dad's house. There was of course an Easter egg hunt extravaganza!! Peacocks included. I colored and highlighted my mom's hair on Friday the 17th, and cut Josh's hair the next day. Both of which turned out great(in my opinion)! Josh and his mom had interviews with two different animation schools here in Sacramento on Friday(the 24th). After the interviews we met for food at On the Border. Yummy Yummy! Today was full of perms and makeup applications. Quite the combo I would say. I am working at a race this Saturday in Fairfield/Vacaville. I am having dinner at my dad's Friday night so I will just stay the night there since the race is right by his house. Woot! Money! :P

Inked Up

Hi all!!! So I did end up getting a tattoo on Tuesday (March 31, 2009). Woo!! It was a pretty cool experience. I was really happy with the shop I chose (Elite Piercing and Tattoo). It was really clean and welcoming. Everyone there was super nice, yet professional at the same time. The tattoo did not really hurt that bad. It was definitely bearable. It hurt at first, but almost seemed like the pain went away after awhile. I do not really know how to explain it. Let us just say that I will be getting more. =] Dano (the guy who did it) was awesome. I will definitely go back to him for my future tats and piercings. I was really nervous at first, but he put me at ease. He explained everything that he was going to do to me. He answered all of my questions. It only took about 45 minutes to finish. Apparently it took longer than expected (It was only expected to take about 15-20 minutes), because my skin is retarded and is very delicate. He had to be gentle and fine with it because the ink was wanting to spread a little bit in my little veins. He made it work though, which is another reason that I will continue to go to him. All in all, it was a very good experience.

Today I was working on my weaves. I got 3 of them done, so I only have 1 left. Then I will move on to perms, which I only have one left to do. After that will be relaxers. I am hoping to get started on the relaxers tomorrow sometime. I went to dinner with my dad and Cheryl tonight. We met at this Thai food place in Davis. It was really really good. They are moving to Germany in July. I am hoping that I will be able to go out there and see the area after I get out of school. Maybe I will get to spend the holidays there. This weekend I will be going down to Turlock. Going to a birthday lunch with Michelle, Josh, and possibly David on Sunday. Then we will be seeing a movie. Not sure which one yet. Next weekend is Easter Sunday. I am going to be spending the night that Saturday and then spending the day with my dad's family. It should be fun. Alright, I think that is it... :]]
